TACTA - PROJECT KICK OFF
STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT
TACTA is characterised for the creation of a strong Central Office, at the Rome Headquarters hosted by the Italian Customs Agency.
The Central Office will support the Project Director in delivering all the required activities, with specific reference to the co-ordination with the other key experts in order to assure the best possible implementation of the activities and the achievement of the Project objectives.
A special Technical Secretariat, skilled in the management of international projects, has been set up at the Consortium leader premises and is in charge for backstopping activities, ensuring the efficient implementation of the project and performing all operational/administrative and financial tasks.
In addition to the staff of the technical secretariat, including project administrators and secretaries, six (6) senior Customs and Tax Experts with specific experience in the management of Projects of technical assistance and training will be allotted to the National Office. They have been already selected within the permanent staff of the Consortium’s partner Public Administrations.
