• Addressing bilateral, triangular and CEFTA agreements; Free Zones, Inward processing Intellectual Property Rights.
• Introducing management assurance and information systems
• Delivery of appropriate management skills training

• Undertaking a ‘scoping study’ to consider a proposal for the development of a joint Customs and Tax Training School.
Establishing an effective Internal Audit Unit within the Albanian Customs Administration.
Revising and extending the IT systems associated with risk profiling and selectivity to all locations throughout the Albanian Customs Service.
Further assistance in the development of Integrated Border Management (IBM) and the application of investigation and intelligence techniques aiming to combat organised crime.
Further support to the Albanian Customs Administration (ACA) in the completion of risk profiles and the application of selectivity as a tool for the detection and combat of organised crime both on a central and local level.
